New legislation (Decree-Law No. 126-A/2021) has been published amending the legal regime for social support establishments. This establishes the prior communication for the operation of social responses.

With the aim of boosting investment in the expansion, innovation and requalification of social support establishments, this decree-law aims to simplify the licensing process for these facilities.
