The project for the Previous Information Request regarding the first phase of the rehabilitation work of the Palacete Borralho, located in the town of Cuba, Municipality of Beja, has been approved.

In the scope of Cuba’s Town Urbanization Plan Regulation, the building is inserted in a Special Protection Zone for Classified Heritage (ZEP). For this reason, in addition to the approval of the Cuba City Council, the approval of the Alentejo Regional Directorate of Culture was also necessary.

Based on this approval, the project that aims to convert this building into the Casa Museu José Joaquim da Palma Borralho, is now in the appreciation phase of application to PRODER.
